Verizon cuts pricing on BlackBerry Storm to $49.99

verizonPhone Arena is reporting that Verizon is clearing inventory before introducing the BlackBerry Storm 2. Verizon has cut the price of the original model. The first touchscreen BlackBerry is now just $49.99 at Verizon, with a two-year contract. In addition, if you buy the 9530, you can get a second BlackBerry free, choosing from a list that includes the 8830 World Edition, Curve 8330 in silver or pink, Pearl Flip 8230, 8703e or you can just grab a second Storm.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 is expected to launch in October. The 9550 is expected to feature Wi-Fi, an improved SurePress , and BlackBerry OS buildĀ  5.0 .
