Hi Guys: I’ve been a fan since finding your MTM Podcast a few months back and look forward to more. Listening to Episode #30 I find myself in much the same position as young Geoffrey, yes I too am looking to purchase a NETBOOK! Since reading an article in CPU Magazine on the new Nvidia Ion GPU I have been holding off on any purchase till I find out who they may partner up with and market a Netbook with this setup. Although you may have covered this topic in the past I have not heard any mention of it to this point. If possible could you discuss this and/or give me your feelings on the benefits(if any) of this GPU and if I should be waiting for a Netbook with this GPU? According to the CPU article it certainly sounds like it would markedly improve the capabilities of any Netbook with the Nvidia Ion installed and would be perfect for my needs as a PC for my Media Center(HD capable-Blueray,etc). Thanks for any input and keep at it, you are appreciated! John

  2. I’ve touched on the Ion platform briefly – I’m anxiously awaiting the Aspire Revo nettop. I’ll see if I can work it in tonight’s show.
