I got a nice surprise today from my friendly neighborhood FedEx delivery man. The Averatec My Buddy. The My Buddy has a 10.2-inch display, 160 GB hard drive, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, Windows XP Home and a gigabyte of RAM. I immediately cracked the case and upgraded it to 2GB and this baby flies.

I was doing some research on this unit and what I found out is that this is a rebranded MSI Wind. Either way it is a great little device and I will be doing a full review. So far I am enjoying it immensely, in fact I am writing this post on it.

    A re-badged MSI Wind is never bad thing! Does it come with the BT module?

    No Bluetooth. I am hoping that I can add it though. This is a nice little unit and very peppy with 2GB of RAM.
