I like Gizmodo but I think they went over the line at CES with this prank. Doing this at a bar, or big box store is one thing but not when folks are trying to do a presentation.

I also think a lot of folks are over reacting.  Some of these bloggers who don’t think their shit stinks are blowing this way out of proportion.  They are appalled by Gizmodo’s actions and feel that bloggers will be disinvited to the event next year. Give me a freaking break! It was a dumb thing to do but it is not the end of the world for Christ sake.

Reality check people!!!  The only one that is going to suffer is Gizmodo. Not all bloggers are going to be harmed by Gizmodo’s actions. Grow up!

The venues that host these events as well as the companies that participate will make damn sure that their IR ports are covered.
