Thanks! It amazes me how some people never look at the big picture. I can understand their ignorance becasue they never worked in the corporate world but that is still no excuse to steer people away from a device that might be perfect for their needs.</description>

I have been trying to convey that very sentiment but as you say &quot;some people have lost sight of what matters to the consumer.&quot;  Consumers are not all made up of the corporate suits that need 3G, Exchange access, etc, etc.  Both myself and my wife are corporate professionals with no &quot;true&quot; need for either of the above.  However, as a tech geek, the use of the aforementioned technology makes my professional and personal life more enriched.

Yes, the success of the iPhone will be dictated by the sales numbers.  If people buy it, it will encourage Apple to move forward with the platform (which is a good thing, no?)   What you will find is that all sorts of people of all ages and professions will buy this device.
