It looks as if we are going to get some snow tonight and possibly a Nor’easter at the end of the week. That means I need to charge up my Battery Geek Portable Power Station. The nice folks over at Battery Geek gave me one of these units to evaluate some time ago and it has really gotten a work out. This device allows me to charge all of my portable devices and is a must have if you travel or live in an area that tends to loose power in the winter, such as the Northeast.

The power station powers any device from 3V~28V. It features built in variable voltage selection from 3V,5V,6V,9V,12V,16V,19V,21V,24V,28V. Packed with power at 140WH Capacity. Features a power off button to conserve charge  when not in use and a built in USB port which outputs 5V. It also includes a large variety of tips to choose from.

The device is small enough to fit in your backpack yet powerful enough to charge multiple gadgets and will even run your laptop. I ran my HP laptop for 4 hours on this device.

I recommend this for anyone who has multiple gadgets and needs extra power. IF you want to lean more about this device check out the review that Dave Ciccone did on this product over at Mobility Today.

    Michael,

It is still working great. I keep it charged up and it is ready to go.

I have been using it a lot lately with all of the thunderstorms and poweroutages we have been having up here lately.
