iProng is reporting that rumors are beginning to circulate that Apple will announce the much desired wide screen iPod at the Superbowl. This version will not have the phone or wifi options of the iPhone, but will offer the touch controls and accelerometer of the iPhone. It is also being rumored that this may be a Beatles special edition iPod.
