As I was searching for holiday gifts today I came across this bluetooth solution from Callpod. Callpod has introduced the Dragon V2 (DV2) headset. Laptop Alarm will ring a loud alarm if someone will try to steal your laptop! When the laptop is disconnected from AC-power (someone pulls the AC adapter plug out) or someone removes or moves the USB mouse the alarm will go off. Version 1.2 adds Mouse movement detection.
Laptop alarm is free to try. The shareware version has every functionality the full version has, and you can try it as long as you like. The full version will be available soon.
